About TOAM

Tanzania Organic Agriculture Movement (TOAM) is a member-based national umbrella organization registered in June 2005 (OO NGO/0859). There are 89 subscribed institutional members that include farmer associations and cooperatives, NGOs and FBOs, organic operators, researchers and trainers. TOAM aims to provide coordination and facilitation to organic sector stakeholders in the whole of Tanzania.

Vision: TOAM envisions a vibrant, sustainable, and mutually beneficial organic sector in Tanzania.

Mission: To coordinate and promote, through networking and information dissemination, the development of the organic farming sector among smallholder producers for sustainable livelihoods in Tanzania.

We are based in Dar es Salaam. Our office is located at: 8th floor, Mariam Towers, Shauri Moyo/Lindi St, Ilala.
